About the Youth Pastor

Josh Beshea joined the staff in March of 2007.  He and his wife Valerie are both graduates of Hyles Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana.
Josh served as the assistant pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana, from March 2003 until coming on staff at Calvary Baptist Church.
Brother Josh teaches the Horizons Bible Class for teenagers and young adults.  He also is the congregational songleader during our worship services and adult choir director..  Another hat he wears is Junior Church Preacher during the Sunday morning service. During the summer, Brother Josh conducts our annual Vacation Bible School.
Valerie is one of the pianists at Calvary, as well as a singer and nursery worker.
"There is no way I could do the work of the ministry without Valerie." Brother Josh says.
