Wednesday Night Service
The Wednesday night service begins at 7:30 p.m., but by
that time, so much has taken place at our church. Our children's
program,
King's Kids,
begins at 6:30. King's Kids gives the kids an opportunity to grow
in the Lord through activity time, Scripture memorization, rewards and
awards programs, as well as Bible stories. King's Kids is
scheduled from 6:30 until 8 p.m. during the school year.
At 7:30, the service begins. Once again we enjoy
congregational singing, followed by prayer time. We share needs
with each other, and then our entire church prays for the needs that
were mentioned. This is an exciting time.
At 8 p.m., when King's Kids is finished for the night,
everyone assembles for the Bible Study taught by our Pastor. In
the past year we have been studying subjects such as the Book of
Revelation, the Structure of the New Testament Church, and Eternal
Security.
Dr. Lee Roberson used the motto "three to thrive."
This means for a Christian to thrive in growth, he needs Sunday
morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday night church attendance.
Each time we attend church, we give the Holy Spirit an
opportunity to speak to our hearts and lead us.
